How much stretching do I have to do to warm up?
Stretching cold muscles can cause injuries. So it's not needed to do your own stretching prior to a WBX video. Just follow our "warm-up" routine designed for each exercise first.
I’m a woman, and I don’t want to add bulk. Why do I do strength training?
WBX Lean Body Transformation is designed to develop lean muscle to maximize fat burn without adding the bulk. Here are the top benefits of strength training:

I skipped a workout. Should I do a double the next day to catch up?
No. Remember, WorkoutBuddyX is a 12-weeks program. It's more important to get back on track to follow our original workout schedule to get the optimized result. Doing 2 WBX workout in one day is not necessary for most average users, you might also get too burned out and unable to do a workout the next day.
I’ve been doing WBX for a few months, some of the Level 3 drills are still very hard for me.
Remember that WBX is designed for beginners and elite athletes. You should be proud to be able to do some of the Level-3 moves! Stay at Level-2 for a few more weeks before challenging yourself with level-3 again. Also make sure you do the yoga workout to help you with mobility, coordination, and balance.
What is EPOC/Afterburn Effect?
EPOC stands for Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption, which means that the usage of oxygen increases after an exercise session.
In short, it increases your metabolism after a workout. The more intense the exercise, the longer the EPOC effect lasts. The more and larger the muscle groups fatigued, the longer the EPOC effect.
Common cardio exercises like jugging or biking only burns fat during the exercise, then you stop burning calorie as soon as the exercise stops. Workout Buddy X focus on EPOC/Afterburn effect. How do I turbo charge my metabolism?
We do admit that genetics play an important in the metabolism, but you can still turbo charge your metabolism and maximize the fat-burning potential by doing the following:

I fear adding bulk to my lower half through strength training!
Quite the contrary, the legs are the strongest muscles of our body that is critical in boosting your metabolism. Don’t worry ladies. Woman simply don’t’ have the testosterone necessary to build bulky leg muscles. You may gain a little bit of lean muscle at first. But, stick with us. The legs muscles will help you turn your body to a “fat furnace” and start burning off all the excess fat and make your legs, the butt, and the entire body look lean and sexy!
I don't have dumbbells or kettlebells, what should I do?
You can use anything for resistance training. Get a gallon bottle, fill it up with water. That's about 8 lbs! This is plenty of weight for the CSA moves such as the one leg military press.
I'm a man. I want to bulk up. Will I benefit from WBX?
Absolutely! Unlike traditional isolated weight lifting exercises, WBX total body sculpting workout actually boost testosterone levels in men to quickly add muscular mass to the entire body.
However, “adding muscular mass” requires more personalized nutrition and workout customization than our typical “fat loss” routine. Please contact your dedicated WBX trainer directly, and we’ll help you modified the routines to help you effectively fatigue the muscles, and fuel them with the right nutrient to rebuild strong, lean muscles faster!
Circuit #3 is very hard. I can’t finish!
That’s okay. Just do the best you can at each drill. We designed circuit #3 to be the most challenging to maximize the burn factor, which optimize weight loss, and makes your stronger and faster. If you are doing Level 3 moves and Circuit #3 is getting too hard, you can always drop down to Level 2 and finish the entire reps or time. You’ll still get the optimal result of that day’s workout!
Muscle burns fat?
In general, each pound of muscle you gain, you burn 35 to 50 more calories each day. I know that doesn't sound like much, but let me show you the math.
By just adding 10 pounds of lean muscles, you burn an additional 500 calories per day x 365 days = 182,500 calories per year. And since we know it takes 3500 calories to burn 1 pound of fat, that 10 pounds of muscle can help you reduce a whopping 52 pounds of fat - automatically!

Why do I need to exercise daily?
Exercise daily with high intensity workouts like WBX boost your metabolism, which is critical in weight loss. But remember, over-training prevention is also highly important. That’s why we require you to take at least 1 day off in a week, and do yoga once a week to help accelerate recovery.
My yoga mat is getting destroyed! What am I doing wrong?
In general, you should only use the yoga mat when you are lying or top of it with “Shoes Off’. When you wear your shoes to do drills such as “Squad Thrust,” or Angry Apes,” your shoes scratch and damage the yoga mat. We recommend going barefoot on most of the exercise to promote a more natural and organic movement. If you are more comfortable with wearing shoes, then only use the mat as a padding for your hands; so your feet do not touch the mat.
